These healthcare professionals consider caring for the elderly an integral part of the healthcare system and are focused on keeping the elderly from frequent hospitalizations and to facilitate transitions from nursing homes.

Certification
Candice Cares facilities are privately owned assisted living homes that are licensed by the State of Maryland to provide the highest level of care (Level Three). In addition to privately paying patients, these facilities are insured and certified to accept patients with Medicaid Waiver and assisted living subsidy and Subsidy programs.
